I feel a little bad about heading in at 10:00 pm in Las Vegas when clearly the rest of the city seems to just be getting ready, but we rationalized it by the fact that we’ve been up since before 2 am Pacific time. Early ending or not, it was a productive day with some quality time at the pool, two double-doubles, an amazing Indian dinner and a profitable day in the casinos thanks to both of us finishing on a strong run on a couple of penny slots.

We also managed to catch a few of the Bellagio’s fountain shows, which are still good even with a Lee Greenwood soundtrack.
